Startup Strategy Sessions
AdvisingAn ongoing pro bono initiative where I offer focused, one-hour strategy sessions to early-stage startups. The goal is to provide founders with immediate clarity and actionable feedback on critical technical hurdles, helping them navigate complex architectural decisions, refine their product roadmap, and accelerate their path to building a viable product.
The Problem
Early-stage startups often lack access to senior technical leadership or a budget for high-level consulting. They face make-or-break architectural decisions without expert guidance, leading to costly technical debt, slow progress, and increased product risk.
The Process
The process involves a focused, one-on-one consultation with founders. I actively listen to their primary challenge, analyze their current technical approach, and provide targeted, actionable advice on a specific area, such as system architecture, tech stack selection, or scalability planning.
My Role & Contribution
Technical Advisor & Startup Mentor
Challenges & Solutions
The primary challenge is to rapidly diagnose complex, context-specific problems and deliver high-impact, valuable advice within a strict one-hour timeframe. This requires efficient analysis, deep technical knowledge across various domains, and clear, concise communication.
Outcome & Impact
Empowered founders with the clarity and confidence to de-risk their technical roadmap. For example, I advised Blar.io on a strategic pivot towards a legacy code migration service and provided Turboshop with a foundational strategy for data management and processing.
